Social media company Facebook reported that its employees can continue to work from home after the COVID-19 outbreak ends.
According to the BBC news, in a statement made by Facebook, it was stated that working remotely is the “future”.
In the statement, it was stated that employees can apply to work remotely on an ongoing basis after the epidemic, as long as their directors approve.
Brynn Harrington, Facebook’s vice president of development, said some employees are “really successful” at home and want to keep doing it.
Facebook senior manager Mark Zuckerberg stated last May that 50 percent of the company’s employees will be able to work remotely in the next 5 to 10 years.
